Made in Forres on the burial site of one of Hamlet's witches, this is for people who are experiencing feelings of being ‘different’ or not belonging to our family, social or even cultural group. An important part of easing this insecurity is to understand who we really are. This essence remind us of our own worth. It shines light on any negative ‘labels’ we have been given so we can reflect on their source and adjust our behaviour so they don’t become self-fulfilling prophecies. We can similarly examine the pressure put on us by attempting to maintain the positive labels we have been given and set our own goals rather than trying to keep up with those inflicted by others. We listen more carefully to those around us, so that we can discover what they can teach us (and us them). In this way, we begin to realise that we are not as different as we think we are. We become more secure, more accepting and understanding of others and to embrace the differences whilst recognising and celebrating the commonalities.More importantly, we learn to accept and love ourselves for who we truly are so we feel strong both alone or in any group.
