Pitcher Plant: Dangling by a thread

Pitcher Plant essence was made from the strained contents of a Nepenthes truncate  pitcher. The plants are carnivorous and produce jug-like structures designed to trap food. Their lids secrete nectar to attract prey, which lose their footing on the waxy rim and are unable to escape because of downward-pointing hairs. In contrast, the plant bears heart-shaped leaves and is one of the most forgiving of species that not only survives but positively thrives by simply adapting to even the most intolerable conditions. It also carries the signature of a mythical medicine, Nepenthe, that ‘quells all sorrows with forgetfulness’. So if you are feeling so overwhelmed that you are only holding on to your existence and sanity by the finest of threads, this essence will provides the strength, nourishment and emotional support you need to live for the moment, survive and move on.
