Sometimes we feel such deep remorse and repentance for something we have done we cannot forgive ourselves. Wall Rue’s first action is to crack the shell of regret or shame that we have built around us whilst encouraging acceptance that all our actions and experiences, good and bad, are part of our learning process. As our feelings of sin and impurity are washed away, we move from the low, dark energies of shame to the higher, lighter powers of forgiveness, understanding and acceptance. Wall Rue’s action reminds us that shadow behaviour is a natural part of being human and that, by reflecting on our actions we learn more about ourselves – especially that our weaknesses are also our strengths. We also learn compassion for others and their imperfections. In this way we grow and move further into the light becoming stronger emotionally and spiritually.
