The leaf litter on woodland floors epitomises the natural cycles of life and death. Consisting of the dying, dead and decaying remnants of forest life, leaf litter nourishes the earth below, provides home and protection for small, living creatures and an insulating layer which protects burrowers and their young, germinating seeds and insect larvae.
The essence provides a safe and peaceful space for those close to the end of their lives or a significant period in their lives. By bringing them closer to their Guides, the dying sense the encouragement and support of the spirits that await them beyond the veil. Forgiveness, mercy and love flow through bringing a deep sense of peace and connection with the Universe. As the person begins to pass over, the chakras gently wind down whilst the heart, lungs and throat relax and open. The breathing and heartbeat slow, struggles cease and acceptance and calm flow through. The willingness to let go amplifies and a wave of pure ecstasy gently carries them across the boundary into the light and the space beyond. Experiencing a beautiful passing provides deep consolation for the loved ones left behind who can begin to allow happy memories to slowly replace the deep grief they naturally feel and express in the following weeks.
Those at the end of a significant period in their life also experience a similar peaceful passing from one stage to the next in their journey. Again, guidance and support are at hand plus the knowledge that we are doing what the Universe wants us to do. We feel relief as we receive permission to move on unreservedly. Acceptance, trust and optimism flow as the door closes behind us and we step into the magic of the future.
