Difficulties with expressing and receiving love, or being ‘cold hearted’, can have many sources. Some of us feel such deep passion that we are emotionally overwhelmed and paralysed by its awesome power and fear the effects it will have on others. Concerns about rejection or commitment may also make us hold back whilst other people have had their hearts frozen by emotional damage in this or past lives which can make them cold, ruthless, even cruel to others. Hart’s Tongue relaxes, softens and warms the fourth chakra whilst gently dissolving any emotional scars. At the same time it links with and balances the base chakra. In this state we can confidently show warmth to others without feeling embarrassed or threatened. In being able to practise giving love we become more open to receiving it. This, in turn, increases our personal warm heartedness and confidence in showing our feelings.
