At their best, Bear types are vibrant, sweet natured and creative. With four feet firmly on the ground yet able to stand on their own on two feet when necessary, they flow effortlessly along their direction in life. They easily adapt to the demands life brings and can quickly change their pace and direction. Their strong sense of security makes Bears wonderful parents, teachers or mentors. Indeed, legend states that that Bear cubs are born without form as their mothers are so gifted in moulding, directing and enabling them to reach their potential.
Bears, however, can become impatient, irritable and grizzly when they are tired or stressed. Their moods may also come and go suddenly and this unpredictability may make them difficult to befriend or work with. Bears can also fail to see the wood for the trees absorbing themselves with small details rather than the bigger issues. This can make decision making difficult for them and, in order to meet every eventuality, they may over plan for an event increasing stress and reducing enjoyment. They may also become over-protective of their loved ones and unable to let go. At such times Bear essence helps redress the balance and promote a return to their essential, happy nature.
