Forget-me-not: Feeling invisible

This is an essence for those who feel forsaken, overlooked or not listened to.  Most Forget-me-not types work behind the scenes of life. They are the powers behind the thrones; those that quietly get things done and make things happen. Yet, although they are strong and capable, even inwardly confident, Forget-me-nots have a deep resistance to self promotion and secretly fear the effects success might bring. Emotionally they are pulled in two opposing directions with dreams of triumph and recognition clouded by nightmares of stepping into the limelight. In this state, anger, resentment, bitterness and envy may develop as they watch others, often with less ability, progressing and flourishing.  This can result in feelings of being unworthy, excluded, forgotten even invisible.

Forget-me-not first helps by balancing and linking the third and fifth chakras. Courage and confidence grow and, inside, we not only feel a right to be heard and listened to but are able to express our emotions and feelings in a more controlled and balanced way.  We sense our cloak of invisibility dissolving and see clearly that our thoughts and opinions are valued and that we can gain notice and attention if we wish to.  This reassurance can be enough for some.  For others, Forget-me-not can act as a spur to meeting our dreams and fulfilling our ambitions; to overcoming our stage fright and stepping out of the wings to where we really want to be in our lives.
